I don't think I said anything about the first GL colors because the kinda threw me off. I agree. It's a custom-look but it IS a uniform after all.

THIS is freakin' fantastic. (I hope to have characters look this good soon ; ) ) Onr thing I would have done different is his ring. Not that it isn't cool here, but this is GUY, the "adbass" of the corp and there was a great line about him in Green Lantern Rebirth: "Gardener's Ring is like a leaky water faucet, Sparks always fly even when he's standing still. His willpower can't wait to get free"

I always think of GG having a welding tork on his fist. But I also always see him as the jerk quarterback that you want to hate but he's so danged good that you can't--and THAT is this guy right here!

I didn't read Rebirth. Too bad, I would have incorprated that effect. It's funny, I've always doodled Green Lanterns, not specific ones, just variations. For a while I alays drew the rings shooting sparks, like a spray, they'd even bounce on the floor and fade like cinders.
